The Mishikie Handcraft Association is run by 17 women and 3 men who create baskets, beaded jewelry, and wood and horn carvings. The artisans also experiment with other natural material such as banana leaf and eucalyptus seeds and leaves. Their recent work has focused more on natural materials and innovative design with many beautiful baskets, new products, and a return to natural dyeing.
